"I started on my artistic adventure first through musical arts as a youth and more recently designing and painting First Nations Art, both contemporary and traditional. I have been inspired by the artworks of fellow Tsimshian artists Roy Henry Vickers, and David Boxley. The works of Tahltan artist Alano Edzerza, as well as Coast Salish/ Kwakwa’ka’wakw/Nuu Chah Nulth artist Bradley Dick, have also inspired me to think outside the normality of art.

Over the past few years, I have learned a variety of different art techniques and forms. From beading to painting, I have discovered that my passion is Northwest Coast art. I wish to not only learn about where I come from, but also to learn about who I am and to connect with the ancestors and learn our stories.

I enjoy the opportunities I have been able to share in connecting youth to their culture. I look forward to sharing my art experience with urban children and youth and encouraging them to express themselves through art."
